How it all Began ...
KIM HALE
I am a Reiki Master in the Usui tradition offering energy-based healing in the peace and quiet of the Surrey countryside. I am fully insured and offer a range of therapies including Reiki; Rahanni Celestial Healing; Aromatouch (with advice on using essential oils for health) and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT).
I am a trained primary school teacher (B.Ed Hons. with a diploma in Special Educational Needs) and have worked with clients between the ages of 1 and 91. I am an animal lover and conservationist with a keen interest in environmental issues.
I believe that disease (DIS-EASE) is caused by blockages in the energy system and that our body has the ability to heal itself if it has the right support and if these blockages are removed. I am not a trained counsellor but I have been told that I am a good listener! Sometimes just talking a problem through with an impartial listener can start the healing process.

History
The Oak Healing Room was set up in 2015 after a leak from a water pipe in the bathroom above forced me to re-decorate what had once been the “computer room”- and prompted me to realise my dream of starting my own complementary health business.
I qualified as a primary school teacher in 1982 and also worked in conservation for many years as the Education Manager for the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation. From a young child I always had a strong desire to help people and animals and spent many hours “rescuing” the weak and injured. My aim is to further my studies so that I can offer a wide range of complementary therapies for natural, energy-based healing.
